ok I got the 2.4 block (not that it makes a difference), but I have the 04' PT cruiser transmission. I asked someone on this board thats got the same setup except 2.0 block and he said his fit fine. I was told this is supposed to bolt up fine to 2.0 or 2.4, but the mechanic said it doesnt line up and I have to remove and swap the stock 420a bellhousing? Im gonna end up doing it myself but i dont wanna go throug hall that work if its not necessary. I know the 3.55 trannies have to be swapped because if clutch or hydrolic cable differences? confused

i dunno about the 2.4, and 2.0 difference.

but the 3.55 (95-99) have cable clutches
and 2000+ have the same setup as us.
