My slave cylinder is leaking at the back end (opposite side of the push rod). When it leaks down, i replaced the copper o-rings around the main bolt, and it will be fine for a while, until it goes again.

Is there a trick to keep it from leaking there, or is the slave cylinder just bad?

went thru the search, but couldnt find what i was looking for -- is there a cheap alternative to the dealer for getting a new slave cylinder, or are the rebuild kits the only option?

so...no aftermarket alternative for the slave cylinder then?

As far as I know, there are no aftermarket alternatives. If you replaced the crush washer and it doesnt leak, then I think you will be fine. If you have to replace it, NAPA can get you one. Not too terribly expensive and easy to replace.

I replaced the copper washers on the slave cylinder again and everything has been fine since.
