Is there any company out there that builds race transmisions for the 420a or even just performance parts... I dont want my trany to die with a stage 3/4 clutch and lsd when i get them... any help would be appreciated

Edit: Also im not going turbo... staying na w/ high comp and NX direct port

I thought that the NVT-350 is a performance Tranny.

Quaiffe (sp?) makes one, or two I should say... a $15,000 one with straight cut teeth (whiny), and a $16,000 one with curved teeth (quieter).

both are 6 speed.

I'll just let Hahn do the talking on this matter:

I am not bothered by this, as Hondas running similar power to weight ratios typically get only a few passes before the trans is junk. We have also run these same transmissions in high nine-second Drag Neons with success."

If you're making that much power, then you can think about an alternative tranny. If not...don't worry. It's not like we got stuck with the crap Mitsu trannys ;p
