2064, Tranny Stages? Posted by Elysium GT, Jan-19-04 04:53 AM
how many stages of the transmission upgrade do we have? What's the difference between them? Someone was asking me about stages of stuff like that, how his car had 1 and he said something about my car having 3. and how it increases torque and stuff.

There really are no stages
You can upgarde clutch/flywheel. Better grip from a clutch lighter rotation mass by aluminum fluwheel
You can up grade Diff to a limited slip eithe conversion like Retrofit or a Quaife
And you can change the gearing, swaping parts with Neon SOHC trans to get different gear ratios.
That's about all she wrote

(sarcasm)
What is a stage? Isn't that like a raised platform where people perform?
(/sarcasm)
If you add a Quaife, you're at about the highest level stage there is from our tranny, asides from maybe changing your gearset. Don't stress it. Our trannies handle +500 HP. What else needs to be said?
