yea so i just installed my MSD and im using the stage rev limiter and i have it set for 4 grand. So im at 4grand, let go of the switch and the clutch at the same time, i get some bad wheel hop then i hear A huge clunk and and bunch of little clunks then i can freely rev in gear. I have a peice of the peices i was able to find in the dark on the road, Now i know what almost everything is, peices of the casing are on the top and side, some type of gear is in the middle , but whats on the right, is this the dreeped differental pin i hear about, Did it pop out of the diff and expolde threw the tranny. Please help, Im so down , this so sucks, i just ordered so much shit too.

yup thats the pin. Yet another exlpoded tranny.

The gears are the ones inside the diff. or were... But im no 5spd expert I am an auto after all.

what is the part number for that fix. so the pin doesnt slide out. cause i dont want this to happen to me.

i forgot but you can just have it welded in place, i would do both

Yeap. This is a good reason why burnouts and lots of one-wheel pegleg launches are dumb.

The gear pieces are one of your idler gears, the pin is the idler gear shaft and the chucks are part of yoru trans case it looks like.

Join the club darosa4561, that happened to me a year and a half ago. Best of luck to you, and definately get that pin in the new tranny welded (or use the Mopar safing plates).
