Do you need the safing brackets for the PG? Do you put them after you install the PG? Does it go on top ? Can someone give me a quick discription on how it goes on? Thanks it will help a lot.

they go like this. don't forget to shave about 1/2" from the tops so you don't kill your speedometer sensor.

I am sorry but I do not see how those are helping anything. Am I missing something because it looks like they sit next to the PG and are held down by 2 bolts? How is it doing anything? Sorry for the stupid questions but they do not look they are needed. What am I missing about this?

it helps protect ur tranny from having the pin come out and destroy it
but u have to trim off the top or it will hit ur speedo sensor. do a search and ur find abunch of nice subjects about phantom grip and safing brakets

stage 4 clutch, aluminum flywheel, solid motor mounts, Phantom grip, phantom boost, egt, a/f, oil psi, apexi TT, Jeep TB, Star stage 2 with custom 3 inch downpipe out passenger side bumper, custom ground kit, flacon azenis, 2 inch drop, eibach camber kit, crank scrapper, and some other stuff

Well after over an hour of searching I found a bad ass pic of how the brackets go on and what they hold. I did not know how the diff pin was in there and that was the part that I was confused about. It runs perpindicular to the gears and brackets. Now I need to cut off 1/2 inch from the top of these brackets right? Now is this exactly 1/2 inch because I had to order these and do not want to come up short of the diff pin. Then I will have to order more brackets and leave the car apart even longer. Let me know if it is exactly 1/2 inch and I will cut it tomarrow thanks once again you all are a big help!

Hey post the link to the info you found please. I am about to do this. Can you get the brackets from a dealership?

Ok after a trip to a dodge dealer and dealing with the space-whore at the counter I had to find the part numbers for the stuff i need myself. Here is what I have come up with.

Tranny fluid (3qts) - 4874465

diff Safing tabs (2) - 04800059AA


Now i get to go back and try to get the stuff. I couldn't find this info anywhere so here it is.
