1086, who should i get to install clutch? Posted by Mattcky2k, Jul-29-03 07:30 PM i'm buying a 2600 ACT clutch and probably a lightened flywheel while i'm at it but i'm not to sure as to whom i should take it to, to get it installed. should i take it to a regualar place that installs clutches, just like a local mechanic or whatever, or should i have a performance/tuner shop do it? i don't know alot about installing that kind of stuff and i just don't want something like a clutch to be on wrong or something. thanks | |

Posted by thegame, Jul-30-03 07:14 AM gsx. oh ok. my bad :+ not sure how hard it would be to do on a gsx. but all u need really is a variety of tools, a couple jacks and stands, some trans fluid if u want new fluid, and patience/time. thats about it. youll have to move and take off quite a bit of stuff to get to the trans, but once u take it off the clutch/flywheel is right there. it will take u a while to do this. and youll probably get pissed/frustrated. | |
