197, RE: Stage 2 turbo kit is a upgraded clutch required Posted by Stan2gnt, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM Nope. my original clutch was one of the best I ever had, nothing but problems after that. the only reason I replaced it is because the tranny blew at 103K. CM stage 3 was pretty nice as is the SPEC stage 3 although its a little short on driveability.
