Ive heard good/bad things about level ten.
More bad than good. Robert over at ASOG supposedly got a level ten full high performace rebuild and then when he blew his tranny a couple months later realized they just put stock parts it and charged him for a full race prepped tranny.

and why, just go to a tranny shop and get rebuilt performance internals, thats all level ten does but without the higher price.
here give this list to a tranny shop and have them quote you

and here is a list to build the best a604
get all these parts and your set

Transtar High Energy Rebuild Kit - K7200H $193.00 This kit uses the Raybestos High Energy clutches (kevlar)
Transtar Shift Kit - K72908J $26.00 www.naparts.com
Transtar Differential Pin Safety Clips - 72984 $5.00 each 2 needed and any trans shop (even the dealer) These are plates that sit on the outside of the diff and hold the pin in the assembly.
Transar Booster Valve Upgrade - 7208V $15.00 raises the line pressure for better shifts
Alumunim Accumulator pistons - part number unavailable (looking) $15
Phantom Grip LSD - 904 $271 www.phantomgrip.com
2600 Stall converter - $300 Hughes converters (core needed)
or 2800 Protorque High stall converter
updated solenoid pack Shifter Solenoid - dealer part (depends on year 98+ use different plugs I think) or Precision International Part Number K31900-6
B&M Trans cooler - $45
Raybestos inline microfilter - $30
Autometer Trans Temp Gauge - $45
Drain plug - $5.00
Mopar Anti-Foam Additive
Final Drive gear set Mopar part# 4773275

Kewl, thanks!

I thought phantom Grip didn't make a LSD conversion for the auto...

Has anyone looked into Forward Motion www.forwardmotioninc.com ? I heard of a crazy auto/manually shifted trans they offer. Their site isn't much help and they haven't replyed to my email. I'll prolly call them from work :P

Thanks for the help tho, I appreciate it :thumbsup

Oh, I've got the trans temp guage but too late x(

never mind about the Forward Motion trans. They require us to modify the lower crossmember and mounts.

I'll rebuild what I've got. Thanks agian for the help.

I went with the level ten kit, 2500 stall from level ten, and the trans go shift kit. When I get it back i will let you know how every thing feels. I am hoping to have it back some time this week, if they can get all of the problems worked out of the engine.

Sweet, let me know cause I'm gettin my money in a week or two. I was thinking about goin with the above list of parts. I have a friend in the trans rebuild field that will rebuild my trans for cheap. I just need to know if these parts are good or not and if they work on my trans.
