yes works better with shift kit

the chip modifies 3 things basically

1. fluid pressure for much much stronger grabs (shifts)
2. forces the ecu to dump more fuel into the cyl's
3. causes the TC to hold longer between shifts for maximum trq

*other mods included w/ chip*
- intergrated tq lock up switch
- integrated tq reduction switch

****also when using this chip it will not throw a TC lockup code when using the TC lockup swith*******
