well just wanted to share with you guys my great luck

i found a 470 neon trans from a sohc as my core with the 2.98 final drive and it also has the forged 5 pinion planetary :)

My trans mechanic has been in business for a long time and honestly he told me that finding a 4 pinion is rare to say the least in that trans, hes rebuild i am guessing by how many cores he had of 670-470-413's in the shop at least 50-60 of those, never encountered a 5 pinion one, untill i poped mine open

BTW does our 604 have the extention housing atached (dont think so since thats for the speed sensor and the 604 uses just one past 93) ??...i should lift my car and check but i feel sorta lazy right now....

if not im in the same dilema mr glacius was in about geting a speedo reading...might look into geting some sorta acelerometer to read out my speed till i find a fix...
