yeha I dunno what the problem is. i cranked up my car this morning, the speedo doesnt work, and it seems like its in 2nd gear, (its in drive) and it wont get out of 2nd gear... reverse works fine, drive works, 1 works but feelsl ike 2... so basically the only drive gear i have is 2. the speedometer dosent work, the fuses are fine. No fluid problem, idles fine, no fluid leaks.

sounds like a bad speed sensor to me..

yep replace the input and output speed sensors.
reason I say both is typicall when one goes the other is soon to follow.

yea its your output speed sensor most likely, my input speed sensor went and i just replaced it but i have heard to change both but i didnt, i think i got an input speed sensor for 16 bucks from a dodge dealership

I have a 99 GS and HAD the same problem......no biggie....they are right, change out the sensor
