i have my trans cooler from B&M pictured here

i ordered also the mounting kit for it also .. now i want to mount it aft of the stock cooler ... basically having 2 coolers i want to run from the stock cooler to the supercooler on the passenger side air dam ... my question is

1)what size tubing do i need to run it from the cooler to the super cooler?

2) how do i attach and keep the new line from leaking and/ or falling out?

3) how do i connect the super cooler to the stock return line?



i have a temp guage too but thats another story .. i need to find the bit size ... fun fun fun when i get home ill post a pic of it

Yeah basically, everyone on here has the stock cooler and the tranny cooler hooked up to gether including me.

1. I think the hose size that came with the tranny cooler was 3/8. They use regular automotive house so if you run out, just go to Pep Boys, and they have some fuel lines. Just match the hose that is on the stock transmission line nipples to the fuel hose size.

2. Leaks have never been a problem for me and I just used a small hose clamp on each connection; just tighten it obviously. If your paranoid, use two on each but its really unneccessary.

3. Connecting the stock cooler line to the super cooler is simple. Just slip on the hose and your done.

the only reason i ask is cause the cooler came with no trans lines .. acutally if came with 2 holes in it .. nothing in regards to attaching to the stock system .. so basically i would have to custom it ... so if the stock line is 3/8 ill match it up than and run the line .. ill need a few clamps also ... thanks for your help sir !!

ok people a little FYI the b&m cooler will not mount by the side air dams .. .its just too damn big ... from what remy tells me its bigger than a gst/x side mount cooler ... it will need to be mounted by the radiator, in front of it ,something like a fmic ... now to do this u must remove the 5mph bumper .. FYI

Wow, that thing really got to be big then. I got mine at kragen, and I think mine is made for a light pickup.

its about 1'4" high, the same across, and about 4-5" thick ... thats annoying as all hell.. !!
