aye... so i decided im doing the autostick mod....i have a diagram in the it overhaul manual to show me the solenoids... but where the hell are they..... and what color are the wires going to the tcu.... also.... which type r they....... does the tcu send voltage via ground... or via pozzy? :)

also just to let u know with that tourqe reduction mod where u just cut the wire.....im working on a circut that will allow for the 4/3 shift to occur.. ill keep u posted..

oh ya... i wont be back on till about 3:30/4pm PST ive got an EP2 (engine proformance 2)class for my L2 ASE exam. so take your time :)

you dont need to worry about the solenoids/location
all you need is to get to the TCU and wire it up like the diagram for autostick

Well, let us know how it works out. I can't recall anyone from the board actually completing either of these mods.

oh and for the torque reduction
you just need a relay to engergize and basically hook the wire you cut back up when the 3rd/4th solenoids are activated. then deenergize when it drops back down into first/second. easy circuit

that mod is really only good for first and second gear anyways

yes it is the TCU and ECU send signals back and forth
all you have to do is just what I said above and the 3/4 will work just fine

it woul be really grat if mcgyver could wip up a draming of how and where to hook up relay.
