Hey guys, moms got a problem ya'll might be able to help.
Transaxle is slipping going from a stop. Goes fine when it gets going. Tranny fluid was flushed not to long ago, put in multi vehicle. Doesnt seem to hurt anyone elses cars at work. Anyway, fluid has metal shavings out the yin yang in it. Is there something that could be causing this, filters never been changed. Prolly change it out at work tommorow and flush it again and see what happens.
Any other suggestions? ABout 90k on the speedo and tranny if I remember.
Thanks,
Joe

<-- Ass hole:D
I object against it. Hard to argue with corporate whore mongers on the fact that we should be using 1176 or an atf equivalent.
It's in the shop right now, i hope it's only a sensor gone out kicking it into limp home. Because thats how it feels.
Drive perfect for a few miles then will not leave 2nd gear at all.

Yeah it sounds like a input sensor probably. Ive seen the input go out and you could shut the car off turn it back on and it would work fine for a minute or two then fail again.

Tried explaining to my dad the sudden weather change can cause a sensor to fail. Not physically mess it up but the moisture and things like that. It has gone from 70 to 30 to 70 with rain all mixed in over and over.
I hope this shop can fix it. Mines in the shop now getting an estimate on fixing it.
great
lol
