the code for my transmission on my sticker under the hood says f4ac1 what does that mean is it the same tranny as the 604:wary

A604 is the Chrysler call number/letters.
F4ac1 is the Mitsu call numbers/letters.
Same shitty tranny...oops did i say that:-( hehe

There's nothing wrong with our make of the A604... and it's definetely not a shitty or weak tranny. I need to take you for a ride in my car, Joe... I think you may change your mind! }(
