Just keep your O/D button off and you'll go faster. You should redline at 123 mph or so without your O/D. Weight reduction may help, the more you take off the less the engine has to work. BUT it would not help you much.

Whats all this shit about our trannys not having topend? My shit pulls until I have to let off. I keep my OD on all the time and I've come slightly short of 140, only cause a few cars were coming up fast and I had to brake.

I just don't get it. Where all these shitty autos come from al the sudden? It was like this a few months ago.

My advise is, figure out whats wrong with your tranny and fix it cause it shouldn't be doing that.

weight reduction helps alot ive taken out the rear seat ( top and bottom, all rugs, rear trunk tire and jack also along with all plastics, driver side sound deadening 5mph impact bumper (once and while the front seat goes) thats a good 100lbs with the passenger seat out maybe more i dont know the exacts... but i can tell u high end the car moves much quicker and it leaves the line with more aggression than before ... u really notice it at around 4500k. mind u we are autos and need any excuse to move ..lol

Weight reduction helps MTX cars also. Wiehgt reduction helps just about anything move faster. I'm just not sure what and why you guys are having all these problems with getting you cars to move at higher speeds. Shit, the faster I go, the faster I keep going. 'm just not sue what all these problems you guys are having so I don't know what to say. All I know is that I don't want this to happen to mine. :) I think weight reduction is a good idea if you wanna get a little faster.
