First, use the search function through the Auto Trans forum for "trans swap". There is some decent information there concerning wiring modifications needed. Then, take a close look at an original MT 2GNT (junkyard or friends car). Look for all of the parts that are different to get a feel for what you are dealing with. Off the top of my head, you will need to source the following:
transmission with shift arms and shift cable bracket speed sensor with gear speed sensor plug with 6" of wire rear trans mount and bracket upper trans mount and bracket clutch throw out bearing clutch fork slave cylinder lower hydraulic hard line (for slave cylinder) bracket for lower hard line flexible hydraulic line upper hydraulic hard line (from master cylinder) bracket for upper hard line clutch fluid reservoir with cap bracket for clutch fluid reservoir with bolts rubber hose for fluid reservoir with clamp clutch master cylinder clutch pedal assembly with bolts brake pedal assembly with bolts shifter assembly with bolts and rubber bushings shifter boot shifter knob shift cables with rubber bushings and rubber boot thru firewall clips that hold shift cables in their brackets
You can re-use your AT half-shafts. You can keep your ECU and TCU (but you will have a CEL). If you want the higher rev limiter, you will need to swap in a '98 MT ECU. By the way, it is totally worth it.
