Ok...what class can I race in on saturday and sunday... My car appears nothing like stock... I modified body my completly My inside is going to be a three seater...but I can put stock back in if needed. I dont want to race in the class where you guess your dial in... I hate that. Ill be in the mid 13 range maybe dipping high 12s is lucky.

unfortunately they removed the 2GNT class, so you'll have to join the bracket racing.

Well I am turbo... but the bracket is the only thing I could get into???? What about quick 16... lol, like I can be that fast... Is the bracket racing the type where you guess your dial in and if you are closest you win.... If so that sucks its not even racing... I cold say 2 minutes and go real slow... Anyways....If thats the case screw it, Im going for Q16...

My local car club is estimating that you'll need to run deep into 11's to qualify for the Quick 16. The competition is just fierce! DSMs get faster and faster each year and there have been A LOT of nice new parts that were released this year.
And yes, bracket racing is where you give them a dial-in time and whoever gets closest to their time without running faster wins.

Quick 16? You really want to race cars like Shepard, Turbo Trix, Buschur, Magnus, etc? If so, that's cool I guess. I think there was only one FWD car in Quick 8 last year, and that was the fastest FWD DSM (also happens to be the fastest automatic DSM too!).
You will have to stick with the FWD class or bracket 1 or 2. The bracket classes are usually all AWD cars, so you might want to stick with FWD unless you think you can nail the exact same 60' and ET every time. It's just for fun. If you go to the shootout expecting to win, you will not have any fun.

even in the FWD class, I'd assume you'd need to run mid 12s AT LEAST, seeing as how the low 12 sec cars are just barely able to make it to about 3rd or 4th int he FWD class. Last year I think I remember one or two 11 sec FWDs. Hey, you can try, but I don't think it can happen.
I know I'd like to see Hahn's RS run in the FWD class, if he can make it.
