Is the shootout only a race or will it have a show area as well? I know that the shootout's at Englishtown NJ have both. I am not really a racer, but I would love to just hang with the rest of you guys and check out all the DSM's.

Rookie j/k i think there are gonna be places for us to park but i dont think there will be any type of judging going on..... but we will see when we get there.

There is a car show as well. They have had one the past couple years with judging and prizes.

Friday = show up, hang out, walk around to the different parking lots to see the several hundred DSMs.

Saturday = Car show, autocross (if the autocross is going to happen this year)

Sunday = Shootout

This year there will be no autocross. And, if there is a show connected with the shotout, it will be a DSM only show, and it will probably be on sunday at Buschur's shop, being held at the same time as the racing at the drag strip. yes that sucks but that's how they do it.

But, fortunately for all of you show car guys, there will be a pretty big car show with the import nationals event on Saturday. That should be a good show, so if you feel the need to see a show defenitely make sure you are around on saturday.

The car show on sunday with the shootout will not be as good as the show on saturday.

Yeah, even on raceday Sunday, the parking lot was full of DSM's to look at. Some racing, some just showing :) Since i didnt race last year, mine was just sittin there, hehe
