Good block if your going to use .020 JE/weisco. You can go with SRT-4 or Venolia but you will need .030 or .040.
The block is bored to .020 for venolia clearances which are damn near stock. Cylinder #1 has a scratch from one of the oil rings hanging up. You could try running it the way it is and see if it makes much difference. Many people looked at it and told me to just run it and pressure test it after break in. With the money i have in this motor I didnt want to.
Motor is from a 2001 PT Cruiser
.020 JE or Weisco require much more clearance so it will need to be bored again which will take care of the scratch.

Is this JUST the block, no crank? You say I can still use the SRT piston rod combo right? How much to 29388?

no it comes with the crank. you can use the SRT-4 combo but you will need to get either 30 or 40 over
