These have a brushed aluminum look to them. over time they may dull in appearnace or scratch some, all i do is take a fine grit drywall sanding sponge and go over it to keep it looking new. this has worked for my original piece that i did well over year ago.

NOTE: if you want one of these, please know that they are hand made from aluminum and are not machine quality perfect!!!! there MAY be slight imperfections in the materials, or some angle lines not perfectly straight. They should only be noticable up close, but not once mounted to you console.

HOWEVER, I am very anal and have tried very hard to make them as good as i could. Im the guy that will notice a picture off angle by 1/8in from across the room. Part of whay it has taken so long to do these is because of my analness.
You may have to tweek the mounting legs a little to get a perfect fit to your console. these are thin enough gauge plate so as not to be a problem though.
If you use your stock shifter boot, you will have to punch holes in it to mount it to the screws that hold the ring to the plate on the underside. Leave yourself enough slack in your boot to go thru your entire shift pattern. make sense?

but yes they should work with short throw shifters.

Jersy - yea they come apart at the hex bolts. I can do the shifter plaque if you want, but it will be a little extra. I can let you know how much tomorrow. shipping will be $6.00 for USPS priority.
