Its connected to the harness with 1 wire and bolts to the side of the block/ head. Anyone with a parts car have one shipped to Denver, CO?

As to what it is, that is a good question. I remember it was answered around here a bit ago but I can't find the thread now. I accidentally broke mine the other day and am hoping it will help with my Megasquirt issues. Long shot i know.

It's a condensor (sp?) and is typically designed to cut down on that annoying radio buzz caused by high output ignition systems (I remember this specifically on my cougar when I installed the MSD).

They can typically be had at damn near any parts store for cheap.

Old points distributor systems had these and wouldn't run worth a fuck without it.

And if you broke it, see about salvaging enough of the wire with plug so you could adapt one to it.
