I most likely will take that offer if I dont get any others im pretty much open to offers this is only the first week I have put it up for sale, so I figured give it at least another week or two. I live in South Dakota. I know the price may seem a little high but i bought the car a little over 2 years ago from a local dealership for $5900, I have a litte over $7000 into the car not including any shipping on parts or laybor. The car has fresh paint and new wheels and tires. Clear title. Here is a pic of the car when I drove it off the lot... all stock.

I wasnt saying the car wasnt worth it, but I tried to sell my stage 2 turbo'ed eclipse RS and didnt get an offer above 6K, and that was 2 years ago.

No thanks, it is over book but the book does not figure in any after market mods. The car is moded and priced reasonable for the amount put into the car, please no low balling.

This is the most popular local car lot in my area, these cars are way over book around here, i can agree with you on that, but to be honest, people pay the money for them that are in the right condition in certain areas.

Aftermarket mods hardly account to raising any sort of value above KBB value on these cars (especially in your case, being close to a 12 year old car); however, I'm sure you'll find someone who knows nothing and would pay the price you're asking. Anyone with a brain on these boards knows you can purchase a completely stock GST/TSi for that price.

Good luck.

You've already narrowed your buying audience to kids w/the mods, and the car bluebooks for $2000 LESS than what you want, the majority of the kids (in my area at least) don't have $7500 cash to put down on a 12 year old car when they can get much newer for that price or have a nice chunk of a down payment on a new car. Best luck is to part out the mods put it to stock and sell it for blue book, or suck it up and keep it.
