when i do a quality allover paintjob i usually have anywhere from 300-600 in materials alone. how people can do quality work for less than the cost of materials is beyond me.

Lol, dude. That's outrageously cheap for a fade. I don't even think Maaco will do it for that much.

Just quick question i want a good paint job that will last me long time. So how much would this cost?? including engine bay, door jams... etc.

i do that job for 3 - 4 grand all day long. most people think that's too much but you get what you pay for when it comes to paint and body work and i do mostly show quality work for much more than that. price depends on the condition of the body and whatnot. gotta pull a bunch of stuff to get the engine bay painted and stuff. it's actually pretty cheap compared to what most shops are charging.

Yeah i understand its only 3 hrs drive and i'm willing to do it. But like i stated above that i need outer tie rod replace and i need to get the motor swap done. Because i want get paint between doors, trunk, engine bay. I figure since motor will come out why not get a good paint job that i could afford.

Yeah but let's just say i do get my car running but shouldn't the motor move from the car to paint the engine bay area??
Just curious i wanted to paint my car Lexus Is300 graphite gray but keep the roof black. So how much would this cost?
