I have been having synchronizer problems for the last month or so. Shifting between gears wasn't simple... however I could not afford to fix the problem. It seems I let it go to far - yesterday I had some sort of harsh transmission/synchro failure.

The car is not driveable. It doesnt go into gears properly...doesnt roll properly when in gear, and when in nuetral it even acts as if it is in a gear somewhat...basically it has issues and needs some work. I cant afford it anymore.

Its for sale, and Id rather let someone on here have it.

I have a shitload of mods. Basically every single thing you can do to the car is done.

The interior is full carbonfiber (Door panels, door sills, headliner, pillars).

Engine is fully built (JE,Crower) and has 27,000 miles on it. I had just gotten it running very strong before I ran into these tranny issues. Hahn S16G Turbo....huge FMIC...etc

19" rims, full BC2 body kit.

Man, I'm crying a bit from seeing this. I always admired your car, and I'm sad to see another person leave our ranks. Bump for a kickass car, someone buy this thing and slap a new NVG-T350 on it. I would if I wasn't broke.

Yea, it is definitly a tranny related issue. I don't know if the clutch is affected or not. The clutch is only a 2 months old. It's the Organic Ferramic SS from Southbend Clutch. The synchronizers are 100% fuc*#d.

The car does have small problems other than that. It's a built motor running 310cc injectors with an SFMU/SAFC setup. I have been attempting to tune it and whatnot ever since it was installed. The car does have other 'weird' issues. Oddball things youd expect from a DSM. THis is not a car you want for a daily driver, it's a toy and should be a secondary. The struts need replaced, it rides a tad bumpy. But it has H&R Sport springs which are slightly stiff, and it has proper camber adjustment too.

Let me know, I'm advertising it heavily now, I don't think it should take too long.

Nothing an engine transplant from that car to my RS wouldn't solve. He wants the daily driver. I want a built block. problem solved.

The crowd that our car attracks most people want to do stuff to a stock eclipse, but in the rare occasion someone does buy a hooked up eclipse anymore for the kind of money your selling for even though many modded cars are more expensive no one would want to mess with the tranny. I say fix the tranny then sell it. If you try to sell it privately and your like oh the tranny is messed up the synchros are fucked.. People are gonna be like.. emm car like this, yea he deffintley beat the piss out of it so what else could be going wrong. I'd fix the tranny first then go from there. Who's to say after you fix the trany and maybe put a lsd in there that you wont be happy again with it?

Okay so your stock tranny is blown...why don't you find a 3.55 gearbox in good condition and have someone swap em out if you're not inclined to do the mechanics yourself?
