I have forsale a brand new Ipod Adapter. I hooked it up when I got it but then un-installed it. Bought it for $100 at bestbuy. Looking to get $85. I will pay for shipping.

Just curious... Do you have the exact part number of the adapter? I don't think it will work with my older DEH-P3500 if it's the one I think it is. I made my own adapter for audio aux input. Will this one allow ipod access and display info from the deck? My deck is XM ready so maybe it will work?

The following models can control the CD-IB100 through "External Unit Control", with some limitations in operation and display. Please consult the owners manual for more details. • AVIC-D2, AVIC-N2, AVIC-D1, AVH-P7600DVD, AVH-P7500DVD, AVH-P6600DVD, DVH-P5000MP • DEH-P5800MP, DEH-P580MP, DEH-P4800MP, DEH-P480MP, DEH-P3800MP • DEH-P9600MP, DEH-P8600MP, DEH-P80MP, DEH-P7700MP, DEH-P6700MP, DEH-P4700MP, DEH-P3700MP, FH-P5000MP, FH-P4200MP, DEH-P77DH, DEH-P47DH • DEX-P9, DEH-P960MP, DEH-P860MP, DEH-P8MP, DEH-P770MP, DEH-P670MP, and DEH-P470MP • “External Unit” Compatibility with many additional Pioneer Headunit and AV Receiver models.
This is what I gathered from Pioneers website. Your model is not listed but it may still be able to be controlled through external bus. You can give it a shot if want but you should take a look around some more and see what you can gather.
Interested in the entire setup? I'm thinking about ditching the Navi, Xm tuner & nav traffic. I'd give it up for $900 shipped plus trade of the headunit you have now

I've got the same adapter- it works great- controls your ipod from the deck, no need to scroll around on the ipod. you can search songs, playlists, etc right from your headunit. And it charges it as well
