hey everybody, i have designed a bolt-on lamborghini conversion kit for our 95-99 doors. These hinges are not cheap to have custom made at machine shops around here but I wanted to check on here and see if it would be worth my effort. The doors would still be able to open up the factory way as well as the "lambo" way. I am at least going to get the kit made for myself, so when i get it on my car I can psot pics. If you are interested then write me @ trspeed2003@yahoo.com. When I get the kit all squared away I will email you back. Most kits like this for civics and 3000gt's run about $1,500 but I am definitely trying to keep it under $1,000 for sure, hopefully somewhere around $800-$900. Thanks for the help, Jared:thumbsup

if you think about it hard enough you can probably do it for under $200 for both doors, i came up with an idea and am going to give it a shot, i will be able to push one button and the door will unlatch and go up and then push the button again and it will come down and latch on its own. in developmental stages of course.

This is a "Believe it when I see it" kinda thing...but if it's proven w/lots of pics, I'd pay some cash for it..

Hey, I think this is the guy with the blue and silver 3rd gen that was featured on import tuner and if I'm not mistakened, I think he'll appear in the next F&F. Anyways, I'm very interested, It'll just take time for me to shell out that kind of dough.

only if you could do it and keep the windows sealed well against the rubber liner (to keep out wind noise) I would be interested.
