I'm pretty sure they are not legal because they have no reflectors. If you add red reflectors to the rear of your car somewhere you *should* be able to use these. Check with your local laws first though.

just bc there is no red on the tails doesnt automatically make them illegal. i run that setup with red led's in texas and havent been bothered yet . and it doesnt matter on local laws it depends on the cops more than anything

With the new lexus SUV and new eclipse lights being all clear I think the law will have to be revised to some point, As long as you have a very red bulb setup and not some pink/white bs they shouldn't say anything. The original reason they wrote in the newspaper here in FL was because when you hit the brakes it looked like you were lighting up your reverse lights.
