i'm kind of interested. do you have any videos of it? any pics of the interior? any leaks, shifting probs, overheating, etc? if you have anymore info or pics, etc send them to bustrblue2002@yahoo.com

i would have to sell my car though. it'll be weird going back to a 4cylinder after 8. miss my old eclipse though.

also, what did it run on the dyno? any track time?
87291, RE: FS: GI: 95 Eclipse GS turboed
Posted by 95greenhrcgs, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
Unfortunately, I dont have video of the car. I can take more pics for you, and pics of the interior if you like.

The car drives great, no problems shifting, no leaks etc.

I have taken the car down the track but have never had a successful run, so I dont have 1/4 mile times that I can give you. The car was running lean, and was not tuned sufficiently to make a full pass without hurting the car, so I didnt.

I did dyno the car when I first had the engine installed, at at 11-12psi, it put down 262.3hp to the wheels and 272.5 ft/lbs of torque. That was the only time that I ever dynoed the car.

yes please take pics of the interior, exterior all the way around, the works. how far from the nc, va border are you? my dad goes to va almost every day back and forth for work, but i'm in SC, at the NC border. after i get the pics i'd want to come up to check it out in person.

Posted by 95greenhrcgs, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
The interior is kinda dirty right now. Needs to be vacumed, but I will take pics and post them up tonight. The exterior of the car is dirty, but its supposed to be nice this weekend here, so I will wah it and take some pics for you.

Not sure how far from the NC border I am. I am just outside of Wash. D.C. if that dives you any idea.

Thanks
Jonathan

Did you redlight and not get a time? Well, you're making 260hp+, it's not like you're running a 20 second 1/4 mile.

I'm very interested in interior pics too.

Posted by 95greenhrcgs, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
I did run the car through the 1/4, but it was running too lean to stay on the gas, so part of the runs each time down the track were off throttle. I suck at racing anyways.
87361, RE: FS: GI: 95 Eclipse GS turboed

Camera batteries are charged, so I will have pics of the interior up tonight.

:) i was wondering where they were. can't wait to see. and you do have the stock seats right?
87384, RE: FS: GI: 95 Eclipse GS turboed
Posted by 95greenhrcgs, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
Yah, I will replace the Sparco's with the stock seats. The stock seats are in good shape.

Pics should be up as soon as the moderators over at DSMTuners approve of them. They SHOULD be up in here tonight.

As promised, here are the pics. Sorry it took so long, DSMTuners must have be on vacation, so I loaded them up to ImageShack instead. Enjoy.

looks good. although i really wish the seats came with it :) any pics of the back? a few more questions

why was the valve job done after the rest of the engine? anything go wrong?

it can't be turned off of 11psi without another boost controller right?

the a/f gauge, working or not at all?

how much wheel spin do you get?

thanks.
87405, RE: FS: GI: 95 Eclipse GS turboed
Posted by 95greenhrcgs, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
I can take a pic of the back, but its totally stock. I forgot to mention that everything that is black in the interior used to be grey.

Sorry, it took me a long time to get those seats, and I LOVE THEM, so they are not for sale.

Yes, you can disconnect the boost controller, and then you are back to 6-9psi that Hahn regulated on the wastegate actuator.

The A/F gauge does work, just a couple LED's are burnt out. They only cost $45-50 if you wanted to replace it.

The car threw the idler pulley, and the valves bent. I took the head off, took it to a machine-shop, had them deck the head to ensure flatness, a 3-angle valve seat grind, and all new valves, seals etc. Car runs strong. There was no other damage besides the valves. That just hit the valve reliefs on the piston, but no damage was done.

First and second gears are useless if you nail the gas.

I have receipts for all work done to the car if you decide you want them with the purchase of the car. Also, I forgot to mention that the black trim along the windows has been replaced too. And that if you want the carbon fiber hood ( which is crappy ) you can take it with the car, but the stock hood will be included with the sale, or replaced if you dont want the carbon hood. I also have a stock replacement cat that will come with the car which has 500miles on it, in case you need to pass emissions.

Thanks
Jonathan

i'm going to try to let you know something soon. would you be able to meet me partial way? i'd come most but it'll be a long way for me.

thanks for getting the pics, you said you'd have more of the exterior over the weekend?

and whats wrong with the carbon fiber hood?
87410, RE: FS: GI: 95 Eclipse GS turboed

Oh god I can't believe im considering this car... The last thing I need is another car. Let alone another Eclipse...

I am not sure if I would be able to meet you half way. Coordinating someone to go with me to bring me back would be tough. Plus I am locked into a pretty hectic schedule with work, on top of school.

I will try to get the car washed this weekend ( friggin cold outside ) and get you more pics of the exterior.

The carbon hood has a crappy fit to it compared to others of higher quality, and the turbo has pretty much cooked the clearcoat in a couple spots.

I am not in a rush to sell, so whenever you can let me know is cool. Take your time and think about it.

Thanks
Jonathan

I'll email you the VIN #.

I THINK the car was hit before I became the owner, not sure if it was significant enuff to show up on Carfax. Either way, I will send you the VIN.

It friggin cold here, so I am not sure that I will wash the car and take pics today. As soon as it warms up, I will be sure to get you some pics.
