Up for sale is my 97 Black Eclipse GST w/105xxx miles (Manual Trans). The car is my d.d., and I need to sell it A.S.A.P. Im heading back to school and I cant afford to throw any more time or money into the car. It does need some help in a few areas. I will try my best to describe the condition of the car and what it needs/has.


Interior:
The car has all gray leather interior. The drivers side seat does show wear on it, as well as the passenger side seat. The dashboard and center console are in pretty good shape. The power windows and sunroof work, but the power door locks do not. Cruise control, front and rear wiper, headlights, fogs, turn signals, rear defroster all work fine. The a.c. runs nice and cold.

Exterior:
The car is a 97 and it is black so it is starting to show its age. First off, the car is in need of a new paint job. The paint is starting to "spiderweb" in some areas. The car was also keyed by some low life mother f'er across the entire passenger side from front to rear fender. I managed to buff out some parts of the scratch that wasnt down to the metal, but the majority of it is still visable. It was also keyed along the top of the turbo wing and just underneath it on the hatch itself. The car is also going to need a new front bumper. There are a some door dings here and there as expexted. The car does have the potential to look great when its nice and clean and waxed, but like I said before, I just dont have the money to put into this project.

Engine:
I haven't done much to the car in terms of mods. The only aftermarket parts that I put on are K&N FIPK kit, and intake. Thats it. Everything else with the car is stock. The transmission needs work. The 2nd gear synchro is pretty much done. It grinds when downshifting from 3rd to 2nd. 1st to 2nd gear shift is good, as are all other gears. Not surprising since everyone knows this is common with dsm trannies. The engine runs strong and the turbo still pulls hard. There are no signs of crankwalk. Since owning the car, I have only used Full Synthetic oil at every 2,500 to 3,000 miles. I had all accesory belts changed (approx. 5-6,000 miles ago) and timing belt as well. The car does have a brand new alternator and battery(installed approx. 10,000 miles ago) as well as brand new front brake pads (installed approx. 2,500 miles ago). The clutch master cylinder was replaced as well appox. 12-15,000 miles ago. Brand new KYB GR2's were installed in the front approx. 8,000 miles ago. The front sway bar bushings need to be replaced. I went and got new ones from my local satan but never got around to having them put in. The car sits on the stock grey 5 spoked rims, but I do have the stock chromies, so I'll be willing to include those in the deal. The tires are also pretty brand new, with about 75-80% tread left.

Alright, here are some pics of the car. Sorry I havent been able to respond to everyones emails or p.m.'s in a timely fashion, but Ive had my hands full the last few days. I am still stuck as to whether or not I should invest anymore money into this car. Im sure it happens to all of us. One day we hate the hell out of our cars, then the next, we look at it and still love it. Right now, I am currently looking into finding something new and like I said before, this car is my d.d, so I cant just go and dump it off to the first buyer that says they have cash in hand and then screw myself out of transportation. I need to find something for myself first. I know I said that I need to sell the car a.s.a.p., but I should have been more elaborate. I do need to sell it a.s.a.p.,that is, when I find myself another set of wheels. I am contiplating whether or not I should look into trying to find that perfect DSM and stick with Eclipse's, cuz I love the hell out of them, but then I say, do I really want to continue to give myself these headaches and aggrivations that are so commonly associated with owning a DSM. I guess they go hand in hand. I am also thinking about whether I should just suck it up, and fix the problems Im having with this one. Will it be worth it in the end? Dont know..Well, like I said, here are some pics of the car. Be warned, these pics were taken when I first picked up the car on Sept. of 04, so the car does still look fairly new and clean in them. I havent taken any pics of the key mark on the passenger side, or on and under the wing, but if anyone wants to see those, let me know. I will continue to keep anyone whos interested posted on to whats happening with the car. Thanks.

yeah everytime i talk to the guy online he either doesnt respond or just signs off. its like WTF, do you want to seel this car, trade it or what. an answer would atleast be nice instead of jerking us around here.

I can vouch for him guys...he'll get back to you. I've spoken with him in the past couple of days and he's really just torn on whether to let go of the car or not. Just cut him some slack...I'm sure he'll be updating the situation soon :thumbsup

Alright guys. Again, Im sorry I havent responded to anyones emails or pm's. I have been running around checking dealerships and lots for cars, but it seems Ive finally found a car. I should most deffinetly be closing in on a deal tomorrow afternoon. So, as of tomorrow, I'll be back on here to let everyone know whats going down.
