Hi i am looking to buy a blown or high milage 420a motor. I am looking for one close to michigan. I would like a complete motor because i want to rebuild and turbo it. Then put it in my 1995 talon thanks

if you want to rebuild and turbo, i'd really suggest you start with just a bare block and a core head. if you going to do a serious project, everything else should be replaced. i have what ya need if you're interested but i'm in cali. let me know... chris

idk if you are a hardcore 420a eclipse owner but wouldnt it be cheaper(if you stay stock)/stronger and faster to find a 4g63 to build up?? just my 2 cents.

I got a bare block, I'm in arizona. $125 shipped, its just sitting in a room taking up space, dont need it, someone take it before I throw it away.

not at all, the 4G63 swap is very difficult and time consuming, since you have to go through engine management, electrical, transmission placement, axle placement, engine mounts, ect.

its stay 420a or sell it and get a 4g63 car, they are very different.

oh my bad.... i thought he was saying he was looking to buy a compeltely new car. Thats why i was thinking if he is starting from scratch with a brand new car why he wouldnt go with a 4g63. Anyways yes the 4g63 is a PITA and a big waste of time in a 420a. good look with the engine build.

I have a complete 420a 1995 engine minus sensors and fuel rail
I pulled it from my car when I did the 2.4 swap
I could even deliver close to the michigan border near windsor ontario since I have to go there in late january for the ASOG annual party
engine was in running condition it was in my daily driver
around 135k miles headgasket changed around 87k miles

$375 delivered near the border
