83250, FS: 1997 Eclipse HRC Kit Built Motor $6000 Firm Central Florida Posted by grneclipse, Nov-13-05 01:17 PM
I can't believe that this hasn't sold yet.
My fiancee' recently bought an SUV so we don't need this vehicle anymore. We are located in Central Florida
The car currently has 67,XXX miles on it. The engine was built at 41,XXX. Anyhow, enough background story.
BTW: If you are willing to drive here, and either do the swap within a reasonable amount of time or pay for the swap at a shop, that option is available as well.
THE INFO!!!!!!
The vehicle is a 1997 Eclipse RS, it has ALL the power options except for power mirrors, It does have power door locks, power windows, and a power sunroof. It has cruise, cold a/c, cloth seats, even a nifty dash cover. =)
It is Minden Silver and we added 96 Eclipse stock sideskirts and door caps bought from Semperboost here on the board. It also has PIAA fogs were the stock fogs are suppose to be.
The car has the HRC kit on it. It originally had the FMIC on it but it was stolen at the mechanic's shop, when it was still Loeric's car. It was replaced it with a SMIC.
I spoke with the shop that did the internal work and was told that the bottom end consisted of: Eagle H beam rods, JE pistons 8:1, bored .25 over, gapless rings.
It has RC engineering 440cc injectors, and a SAFC2, with a vortech SFMU with all the disks and the rings.
It has a Walbro intank fuel pump and the HRC inline fuel pump. The whining is pretty nice =P
Has triple pillar with Autometer Cobalt series, EGT, A/F, and BOOST (even though the SAFC is set to read boost)
Turbo XS MBC.
Custom 3" exhaust, DOWNPIPE back to an Apexis N1 exhaust.
Car is on 17" Mesh genericsomethingorrathers, and the suspension is eibach springs and tokico struts.
It has an HKS SSQ BOV and will come with the intercooler piping to complete the FMIC kit for the HRC intercooler.
It is prewired for a sound system, from the previous owner.
I'm sure I'm forgetting a few other parts the car has, but I'll post here when I remember.
-It's an auto, Yes there I said it! It's an auto, we only have the boost controller set at 8 psi, but the original owner said he boosted daily driven around 11 psi -The door latch actuator needs to be replaced on the passenger side. The motor still works but the door latch locked up, so we couldn't lock the passenger side door electronically or manually. We had the body shop who installed the skirts just disconnect the latch so it wouldn't be able to be opened from the outside. Of course, that part was dealer only, and I'm not mechanically inclined to pull one out of a junkyard.
-The original owner had some stickers on it, we had them all removed when we had the skirts installed but the paint guy said that you still are able to see the outline of a few of the stickers because they were on for so long.
-It has the stock RS speakers, EWW!!!
THAT"S IT!! The car drives perfect, idles perfect, blows cold a/c
I'm not on here that often guys, post on here and send me a e-mail NOT A PM.
