Selling my car, serious inquariers only. Will not part out. Need to sell quick for down payment on new car. The car has been great but time to go our own ways. Look at signature for mods. Car has been great has oil leak by rear main seal which should cost $500 to fix roughly. I was going to sell for $6k now I and selling for $5k. Serious inquarieres only and I will consider other offers. The car is located in South Jersey

Sorry dude.. you are more than welcome to goto prestiege and buy the car back if I buy this GTI.. lol.. I dont want to really sell it but It has to go, sentimental attachment is now being over looked. I need a quality vehicle that has warranty and zero problems. You know you liked that GTI

Arent you turbo'd though? Would be a good idea but I may be trading the car in today. I go up to the dealership today and if they don't bullshit and play any games with me I should be coming home with the GTI. I never realized the kind of potential those 1.8Ts have.. If you chip the ECU and add a cold air intake and exhaust you are close to 240 HP

if u are getting a gti, u should really step up to the vr6, not the 1.8t. my friend has a vr6 and those things can move, believe me.

I'm sure the price of the car and gas prices are what's deterring him from that. Not everyone can afford everything.

PM me Mike(EclipseTenzoR) on what happened today.

Car is still for sale. I would like to see $5k for it. Price is negotiable to an extent. How do you think my car would sell on ebay. I am going to try and get the car repainted tommorow so its nice and fresh

True, yeah I personally would go with the 1.8T also. Just saying that if you are looking for some better power right away, step up a trim level.

I would say just leave the paint job, probably won't effect the value too much. IMO, if the paint job (to get a good one) costs roughly $1000, you probably won't get $1000 added to you sell price. Just take it to a detail shop and they will make it look a lot better.

My girlfriends dad is painting the car. He is doing it whenever I get the time to go out with him and buy the paint. He like many of you are disapointed that the car is going. And this coming from a guy who always bought cudas and monte carlos and such. Anyway, hopefully if Navy Federal approves my loan I should be coming home with an 05' Acura TSX sometime end of this week or next week. Decided to spend the extra dough and get something more solid

you change your mind about cars more than I change my underwear...

...I really shouldnt be talking I guess

Good luck on the new car smell!

The only reason why I changed my mind was because I decided to spend the little extra money to find a more solid car. Plus the dealer was a not doin his job at vw, so I said find your money or my money and its going to be your money have fun with the car and I left. Did'nt even get to negotiations because the guy was such an ass.

Just tell the guy's at the Acura dealership that you dont like his price and say your thinkin about headin over to the VW dealership. They will def hook you up.

The price on the acura is really nice now down to where i want it and its really sharp. I am just having second thoughts. I am under the curse of my DSM. She put a spell on me and I just dont want to sell it now. I am thinking about dumping $7k into it starting next week. We'll see though. You guys will be informed and you will all have to help me decide how to spend my money.
