Just out of curiosity, what gives you the right to give a core charge? Are you a business?

"...plus it looks soooo nice when you pop the hood to show off your newest performance parts and then BAM! everybody is like Woah!..."

^^ i'd say no.

I'd also say this is not a deal. I bought a powder coated valve cover (no flaws) for $25 + shipping from pr0.

You're right, it isn't. Especially with some flaws.

well, technically he is only charging 15$ for it; however, you do end up losing your original cover

$15? The BIN price is 64.00, plus $65 shipping. And you only get 50 back, so youre paying almost $80, and losing your stocker.

Not to mention the $$ that it cost to ship it back to him.

geez didn't realize I would get such a harsh reaction you think that price is unreasonable? I saw on average covers going for 50-65 plus a core charge so i thought my price was fair :shrug you say you had one done for $25? was this locally? I mean a good amount of time goes into these removing the old black paint with either chemicals or sandblasting, then the cost of the powder, electricity to run the oven as well as a few dollars for myself :). No I'm not technically a registered business but the reason for charging a core is to make sure I get another cover back to do. any advice or input is appreciated though I'm just trying to preform a service of good quality at a reasonable price.
