edit: he emailed me on aug 10th saying that he had just got out of the hosp and had many things to ship out, and that he would in the next week, however I've tried contacting him again and have not received any response. I ordered doorskins w/switches and hatch struts.

i got an email from him about being in the hospital. he sounded legit, but we all know this routine... i'm not saying i don't beleive him, cause i will give him the benefit of the doubt but there seems to be an epidemic on this sight of people going to the hospital right around the time they sell stuff....

i agree, he did sound legit when he emailed me about being in the hosp, but i've been trying to contact him again, and have not received a response. I really hope this guy doesn't bail on us, cuz he did ship some items out to a couple members.

I just received this email from his father this morning:

"Hi
This is Dustin's step father. He has informed me of the situation and said to get on and check his e-mails, that he was sure someone had contacted him about parts of some kind. He said to let everyone know that if parts out in a week that he will have me and his mother refund everyone's money. He was in a wreck a few weeks back and is now back in the hospital. If you wouldn't mind letting everyone know what is going on and that they will be refunded if nothing goes smoother within the next week, that would be great. We are very apologetic that things have gone south with this deal. I will be checking his e-mails more often to keep in touch.

So that is the update on him, for anyone who bought parts from him, i guess we might have our funds refunded..hopefully, and hope he's ok.

I bought a thermostat housing and crank pulley from him. He gave me a great price and shipped fast, everything was real nice I don't think he is trying to screw anyone over but this is just my experience. Anyway thought I would post this so that you guys would know he has sucessfully sold and shipped items before.

Anybody else still havent recieved parts yet? Or even heard from this guy?

nope!, as you can see, i have put him under the "BAD GUY" section. I filed a paypal claim against him, and am waiting to see what happens. I received one last email from him saying i would get a full refund on august 29th, but didnt receive a penny. I emailed him regarding the refund, and has ignored every email since. Not once did I email him in a bad way. I gave up being patient with this guy.

I filed a claim too. I suggest everybody else who didnt get parts to do the same before the time limit to do so expires.
