75828, Parting Out a 96 Talon ESI
Posted by new_1, Jun-20-05 07:10 PM
Ok so 2 years ago I was hit in the right rear end. The frame is bent and I didn't want to come to terms with it. It's been sitting in my back yard. I'm finally going to get rid of it. Ok, down to the details. It's a 96 esi with a manual tranny. The engine has just over 101,000 and needs the head gasket replaced. The clutch was replaced about 2500 miles ago. I made the mistake of keeping all the fluids in everything. oppps. I don't have the nessesary tools to get the stuff out of it, so you'd have to come get it yourself. With all that said, I'm not looking to get a lot of money for it. Give me an offer. I'm in the Detroit Michigan area

How are the tires on it? If you're going to parting it completely out, I'd be interested in some 96+ wiring harnesses and sensors. I don't think I'll have a chance to pick them up for a while though since I'm getting married in a few weeks.

yes I'm parting it out all the way. Just tell me what you need and I'll get them for you. The tires were new but they might have dry rotted?

Is your block is in good condition? If it is how much?

The block is as good as it could be for having 101,000 miles on it. It would be like $200 but you'd have to come get it yourself. I don't have an engine hoist as to get it for you. Let me know, thanks

The hood is in good to almost great condition. No rust on it but the padding on the underside is held on by duct tape. I'd say $150 plus shipping or if you want to come get it yourself then $125. Let me know if you still need it.

I'll take the hood and I can come get it. But......can you wait til after the 4th? I loaned my truck to a family member in need and will get it back on Tuesday. If you want fire me off an email with your address I can get driving directions from mapquest. If you include your number I can give you a call before I head out. I'm somewhat fimiliar with the Detroit area.

(Especially being construction season) :censored

There might be a few other doo-dads I might need so we can do some good ole fashion bartering :cheers
