REASON FOR SELLING CAR:

I no longer want to drive a 5spd. It makes me want to race all the time. Everyone thinks my car is meant for racing, so therefor they want to race me. I am tired of getting tickets for speeding in this car too. And on top of all that...I am about to get married and settle down, because I am pregnant. I would like to put away and use the $money$ I get for the car for medical expenses later on.

HISTORY OF CAR:

I bought this car on October 1, 2004 for $2950 on the lot ($3250 with tags and registration/title) It had 99,632 miles on the motor when purchased. It needed a full clutch assembly, pulley/tensioner/bolt (bolt was completely melted), and the clear coat was coming off (due to tarp over car constantly). I fixed everything! I have put nearly $2000 dollars into this car...and that's not including the $1800 system that sits in it.

■ NEW PULLEY/TENSIONER/BOLT (($200 from dealership)) (installed by mechanic!)
■ JUST PUT IN NEW SPARK PLUGS & SPARK PLUG WIRES! (($37 s.plug wires and $3/each s.plug)) (installed by mechanic)
■JUST HAD AN OIL & OIL FILTER CHANGE! (done by mechanic)
■FLUIDS AND BELTS CHECKED REGULARLY! (done by mechanic & myself)

ONLY THINGS WRONG WITH CAR:
1. BLOWN HEAD GASKET (FULL KIT = $57 FROM PEP BOYS or $20 head gasket and $5/each sparkplug seal from dealership)

2. CODES P0442 AND P0455= EVAP (fuel line) SYSTEMS LEAK DETECTED
and
3. CYLINDER #1 IS SLOWLY GOING BAD

Unless you know its a lemon don't keep dropping the price. I think you should take the advice from chat and put it on ebay, if your nervious about doing it yourself, maybe we can work something out on my acct., and you list it through me. How can you not trust $1900 cash? Money is money. If he sends you the money, give him the car, if not, keep it. I dont understand how you can not trust someone who is dropping 2 grand into your pocket.

Well, I have found out that nobody around here wants a Talon. Not even Used car lots. I only need $1000. I will sell my car for $500. I do not care. I do not come off as shady. If I have to, I will take a picture of my title to prove that I DO have this car!

THIS CAR IS NOT A PARTS CAR UNLESS SOMEONE BUYS THE WHOLE CAR FROM ME...Then they can part it out as they wish.

that "newer" 5spd car was a car i was borrowing over the weekend while my talon was in the shop getting diagnosed and getting prices on how much it'd cost to fix it so i could sell it for more money.

ok so which one did u buy???? apparently u sold a talon that was 5 spd and u didnt want another 5 spd, but yet u bought a cavalier that was 5 spd and then said u didnt buy one and then u buy a camaro (with only a v6 :thumbsdown)..........wtf? im not sure if medical expenses are only going to come to around $800. this seems very shady to me
