I had it going on ebay there were bids going for about $300. Then ebay decided to end my auction. It seems like ebay likes to cancel other auctions for the same system.

VERO = verified owner copyrights thingy

eBay has a bunch of companies that can come in and end your auctions if you are violating their copyrights. Generally this involves stealing their stock images from their site or copy/pasting specs from the site.

I meant DEI not DFI.

You will see that "Directed Electronics, Inc." is an eBay VERO member. DEI is the maker of the 791xv alarm and if you use any of DEI's copyrights to sell your product they have the right to remove your auction.

Exactly. This is why all my auctions I either remove the product or just take a photo of the box. I never copy/paste descriptions either. I find the important specs and type them out in my own words.

Don't steal their copyrighted material and you are good to go.

I'm curious what the difference is between this and the ones on eBay. I saw some completed auctions going near $300 and some under $200. They all *look* the same but there must be something I'm missing.

well the one i was selling on ebay is unopened. The ones that are going for 200 might be refurbished. Thats the only thing i can think of. You think i might still be able to sell it on ebay if i dont provide any specs or links. Just the picture of the box??

Specs are fine to list - just don't copy word for word from their site. Use their numbers but your descriptions.

Check out the other completed auctions and see how they describe the unit.
