ok fellas im realy heart broke im doing this but im starting a new project where this is not required. Im going to attempt to adapt the crossfire 6spd to our 420a's . (Its possible)
So this is what the prototype trans consists of
-stock case (used 38k on it)
-3500rpm stall converter, hughes(new)
-hughes high volume modded pump (1.5x the volume of stock)(new)
-28000 pnd Trans Cooler (with new lines)(new)
-kevlar clutches (raybesto's red series)(new)
-custom made poly/graphite clutch plates "steels" 1/3 light than stock(new)
- final drive comp. (installed)(new)
-complete w/ all new seals,gastkets ect.(new)
-new style solenoid pack(new)
- re-progged TCU (requires "quick learn" to adapt to your vehical's ecu)(used 38k)
- case coated to any color you choose
- prothane trans mounts (red) (new)
- transgo shift kit installed (new)
-high volume "spring set" valve body(new)
*a lil over 3000$ invested into this trans.

That's a shit load of loot dude for a tranny.. Not saying its not worth it because if I had the money I'd love to have a built automatic, but the few people who do put out major power on this forum have 5-Speeds or have swapped to them already. I'd try E-Bay or something because this tranny is like half the blue book price on many of our cars.

Yea, I'd like to see a video of this thing performing just for shits and giggles. Not that I'm buying it of course, but some proof to 5-speeds what a built auto can do.

Well quite a few people have some atx that will compete with the 5-speed. But I'm curious as to how a $3,000 atx transmission competes to anything else.
