i found a junkyard that's selling a wrecked eclipse and am looking for an evolution motor w/ tranny if possible to rebuilt it. i know someone has to have it. THANKS!!

MIVEC engines were never available in the states. You'll probably have to see if you can get one from some company that imports JDM motors.
i believe the 4g92 is a 1.8L MIVEC motor. it came in the base FTO if i remember correctly, but the HP/Tq ratings on it weren't spectacular.
The FTO also came with a 2L V6 MIVEC motor that made something around 200HP. If you're feeling lucky, give that one a try ;-)
