71924, Thinking about selling my car, any offers?
Posted by Jerm23, Apr-18-05 06:56 AM
Well my wife is heading back to school and we really don't need a 2nd car so i'm thiking of selling if anyone it interested. Here's info on the car:

'99 Eclipse GS Anniversary OZ edition; black w/black leather
48,000 miles
HRC Stage 2 turbo kit
turbo timer
EGT, boost, oil pressure, and fuel pressure gauges
30# injectors (not installed)
Tokico Blue struts
Sportline springs (not installed but will be included)
still has the craptech FMU but I haven't had any issues w/fuel pressures. I just have to adjust it when the weather starts changing in the winter & summer.

I bought the car 3 years ago with 32,000 miles and I've changed the oil every 3 months (about 2,000 miles) and spark plugs every other oil change. I also flushed and filled the coolant last year.
The car runs and drives good and does not leak any oil (never had to add any before an oil change yet). Only problem with the car are some scratches on the bumper. This guy blew a red light and I hit his door going about 10mph (after I slammed on the brakes). It's not real noticeable until you get up close.

I'm not sure how the previous owner cared for it but I've never raced it or anything. I've been too worried about breaking something since I haven't had the money for a rebuild so I've taken it easy on the car. The only thing that I've had go wrong were the struts going bad. This was due to the previous owner running sportline springs with stock struts. The car was too low for me so I put the stock springs back on and replaced the stock struts w/Tokico blues. I'll include the sportline springs with the sale.

Also included with the car will be a Clarion AutoPC w/navigation. It's a really old unit (basically the first AutoPC) but it does work fine. MSRP was about $1200 back in '98. I just want a newer deck and don't feel like uninstalling it. I have all the navigation cd's with it. I'll also include the stock stereo.

If anyone is seriously interested send me an e-mail and I will take and e-mail you pics (will take closeup pics of whatever you want).

Car is located in Racine, WI, my e-mail is jranders@wi.rr.com

eBay, probably $7500-8500, possibly more depending on it's eye appeal.

Manual or Auto?

It is a manual.

I was thinking about ebay but my seller rating isn't high (I have no negative feedback, but only like 3 positive feedback). I don't sell much on ebay that's why.
