I have a used and perfect working vortec fmu from my star kit. i have the 4:1 recal kit installed in it now, but will include the 12:1 that came with it for stock injectors. asking $75 shipped OBO.

Does the FMU have a diaphram just like the SFMU.

the blue rubber diaphram in between the 2 main pieces.
I'm assuming they arn't the same though as you have to pull an SFMU apart to change the ratio and an fmu is only one set ratio.

ya it has a blue rubber piece inbetween the 2 pieces. i think they are the exact same. i will compare them tomorrow for you blaire.

well, you can change the fmu to a diff ratio with a diff recal kit like i have for it.

rubber maybe? the blue diaphram piece your talking about seems to be rubber. go to like home depot or sears hardware and get a real real thin piece of rubber and make one. i dont see why it wouldnt work, it would be the same ya know...
