If you try to move the shaft up and down yes it moves a little. As far as in and out it does not move. I am assuming this is normal because the oil takes up the slack.

mine did that brand new, so Id say its normal

hey...he said make an offer...I did :shrug It's more than what others have done so far. If he doesn't like it he doesn't have to take it. I have cash in hand through paypal instant transfer too...no credit card fees.

*edit* I know it's just another 100 bucks...it's not that big of a deal...but for another 100 on top of that I can drive 2 miles and have one "rebuilt" exactly how I want. It's just $200 buys some comprimise...a $100 doesn't so much. not to be a dick or anything. ;)
