In case anyone is interested I came across 8 New Hoosier slicks

They are 27/7.0-15's

$40 a piece

I think around $110 Shipped for a pair

The tire diameter is 1 inch bigger than the stock tires...
They will fit a 15x6 Wheel.

will these even fit i've seen 24.5 inch slicks on stock height and they would barely fit

fully built, gt70 turbo, and F.A.S.T standalone what more do i need to say

I stood them up next to my GS and my GSX, it looks like they fit fine.

Stock tire diameter is 25" with the 16" rim, with the stock springs on my GS it looks like there is enough clearance to rally the car.

Plus, you would probably just be using them for the strip, and taking them off afterward.

These appear to be a road racing / asphalt track tire, not a drag racing slick. See: http://www.hoosiertire.com/specota.htm #10206 about midway down...

I'll pass on these, but if you come by some wrinklewalls in about the same size / diameter .. i'll consider it.

That was my initial thought..I didn't think Hoosier made a drag slick in a fitting size for us...that's why I use M&H's
