Things to note:

1.) The MS shown does NOT have a case, and no mention of a case is made in the description... do they not get a case? Mine come with cases.

2.) There is no mention of the mods needed to the MS to make it even work with the 2GNT Tach signal, let alone work with the Crank Position Sensor... Mine come standard setup for either the 2GNT tach. signal or Crank Sensor. Your choice.

3.) The specs list 4 Bar MAP sensor option... very unlikelly. I am the only person in the US driving round with the 3 BAR MAP sensor under development... sorry, but no one else has the software for the 3BAR MAP, let alone the 4 BAR MAP... tut tut.

4.) Do these MS units come with preloaded base maps for the 2GNT? Mine do.

5.) Do these MS units come with free tech. support? Mine do.

6.) Megatune build 296? sorry but you need the latest 331 build to run all of the latest features that I have preloaded into my MS units.

7.) Can these MS units come pre-configured for ignition control using the Stock Crank Position Sensor? My MS units can. I am as far as i know the only person with a daily driven MS powered 2GNT with full standalone ignition control using the Factory Crank Position Sensor.

I'm not trying to rein on anyones parade here, just I think whoever is making these units, or selling them may not be as dedicated to the 2gnt market as I am, nor are they likelly to be able to offer the support that I can.
The last thing we need is unsuspecting MS buyers stuck without any help...

$100 for the relay board? What the Shit is that? Sensors? Has this guy ever setup or tuned a MS on any kind of car?

People should also be aware of this one piece of very important information:

It is NOT possible to fully test an MS that is not mounted in a case... You see those 2 verticle FET's that you see in the pictures are the injector driver FET's... They put off a lot of heat, and are heatsinked through the case...

If you tested the MS with no case attached, you would more than likelly burn up those FET's.

I test all of my Megasquirt's on the test bench, and they also get burnt in for at least 1 hour on my 2GNT... ;)

In the group buy post I stated that the cases are not included in the group buy, but are available seperately. I can include one for an additional 30 dollars. They can be made or purchased seperately if you choose to DIY.

The megasquirts im selling in my group buy are basic units. they are not targeted to sell to any one particular kind of vehicle, but I sell them to work on any veicle, primaraly as a fuel control unit only. You cater to the 2gnt crowd, I cater to everyone, Of course modifications to the board to run MSNS or MS & EDIS can be done by request if somone wishes to have ignition control also.

Thats a bold statement. i wouldnt count yourself so sure that you are the only one. as I stated, a larger map sensor is avalable for an additional charge. the ms units in the group buy come with the 2.5 bar. If somone wants, even larger map sensors can be made to work also but have to be mounted remotely. you may not know the coding to make large map sensors work, but i do.

No, the only precoded basemap I can offer at this time is one for a car like mine. Which is not a 2gnt.

Into your base units, yes. Mine are not configured the same as yours. and 2.25b296 is the Mega tune version and firmware used. included in the group buy are software cd's with software installation instructions for that version of mega tune.

Again, no. The group buy post states what it comes with. The basic universal setup. If somone wants something in addition to what comes with the group buy, I can help them get it.

You are corect that I am not as dedicated to the 2gnt market as im sure you are. I am not a 2gnt driver. Im certian that you are in fact better suited than i to offer support for the 2gnt specific crowd than I am.

I want to make it clear that if anyone feels this offer is not the best choice for them, that they should not participate. I dont want to step on anyones feet here.

yet, with the regular setup hes running, your car wont run w/out having a labtop to fix the ve tables, and accel enrichments, and warmup enrichments... dont even get me started.
