Ya I am but I have been looking into those full big brake kits too, not sure if i should go with the aem big rotor kits or the full big brake kits u know? Well u know what, I actually might be meeting someguy halfway that lives in Mission Viejo to sell my VIS Hood not sure if its for sure yet. How was the stopping power with these? how old are they? they come with everything you need, all bolts brackets and washers. they'll only fit 17" rims if i remember correctly

Where do you get replacement pads and rotors when these go bad? Didn't AEM discontinue these? I need brakes but I'm hesitant.

pads are still the same, they use the stock calipers. the rotors however wont need to be replaced for awhile, theyre in good condition and not warped at all. im pretty sure you could buy a replacement rotor for the hat directly from AEM or another supplier.

edit: replacement rotors can be bought here.

They weren't discontinued, as of August 2004, AEM sold off the product line to Power Slot. As a result, the new versions of the rotors are no longer crossdrilled, just slotted. They are now called "Powerslot PLUS big brake kits"

Also, if these are indeed the FWD (11.75") version, they WILL fit in the stock 16" rims. Only the AWD (12.5") version needs the 17" wheels.

hey turby any chance these are the same size as the GSx factory rotors. in other words would these fit with a gsx conversion. i dont remember the size of the GSX rotors.

They WILL fit the GSX conversion calipers... the AEM kits include a spacer bracket to allow the GST or GSX caliper to fit over their larger rotor. The AEM rotor is bigger than a GSX rotor, but it's designed to work with either style caliper. I'm not sure if the GSX caliper + 11.75" AEM rotor will fit in a factory 16" wheel, but it should.
