I have a 98 RS and heard putting a GST muffler on will make it sound a little better and flow easier since the N/T stock muffler is too restricting. Anyone have one and if so how much for it?

I have looked at all those places except a junkyard. I have heard from some people around here there are no GS-T's in junkyards, but I should go see. Is the GSX MUFFLER the same as the GS-T? I know the piping is different to go around the diff or what not but how about just the muffler?

that will cost u to ship....its same as stock...just the axle back is different.....

What are you talking about? It's the same as stock...no crap thats what I asked for was the stock muffler. Guy on e-bay wanted $20 for priority shipping I said if parcel post is cheaper which it always is that would be fine even though it will take like 5-9 days.

Well there are many contradicting people across the forums some say it is a little bigger than RS/GS and some say it's the same. So it seems until I see it with my own eyes I won't have a real answer...

well I've seen with my own eyes....its the damn piping....except from the axle back!!!

yeah and it cost me sum like 20$ to send out my cat converter parcels, if u add some piping and take a lil weight off, you get bout same price. Parcels shipping will cost around 15-20$

Well the muffler comes with some piping on it...is that the pipe from the axle back then or are you talking about another piece of the piping?

So tell me this for my final question about this lol. My friend has a TSi. Will that muffler fit on my car? Just the muffler not the other piping. Cause my friend is getting new exhaust and said I could have his muffler. He said he hit a curb or something though and it has a minor dent on the bottom, but he said he don't think it will affect anything.
