I'm sure most of you know I totalled my 92 Laser. I bought it back, and now I'm either going to try to part it out or just sell it as is. I had a friend offer me $1,000 how it sits, then when I told him my buy back was $700 thats all he wanted to give me. So, I may try to part it out myself. The outside is pretty much done for, the hood and taillights are pretty much the only thing not messed up. Everything under the hood is fine with the exception of the cracked valve cover. If you're interested, make an offer and we can work something out. Engine and Transmission need to be local. Also, if you're interested in buying and picking up the car as a whole, I would do that too if the price is right.

Hallman MBC - Used 2 weeks

Thats about all I can think of right now.

what about the exhuast mani and turbo off of it. Will you part those parts and if so how many miles are on the turbo and is there any play in it.

edit: I just noticed your venting to atmosphere... how did the car run while doin that or do you have something to make it work that way.

The car has 95k miles, I'm assuming its all original. The turbo has very little shaft play, this car pulled very hard. I may have a buyer for the entire thing. If not, I'll let you guys know.

Also, I'm thinking about keeping the gauges, BOV, and boost controller. I was going to try to find another 1G and swap the motor, but I think I may just forget about them and boost the Eclipse.

if you dont part with the bov, id be interested in it with the pipe that i see :D

also interested in the clutch. how many months ago was it installed? 6 or 7 bolt engine?

The clutch was put in about a month or so ago, 1,208 miles exactly... 6 Bolt.

I'm trying to find a 1G with a blown motor or something and just swap mine out. I really want another one.. I dunno.

well, assuming that our trannys are the same since we both have six bolt, i might be interested in that clutch if you give it up. also bov, and mbc. i am local to indy.

btw, how did you put 1000 miles on it in one month??

I drive about 30 min each way to work every day. I also drove to a bowling tournament in Illinois. It may have been a little over a month, I'm not positive. I know the mileage thats on it, whats it matter if it was one month or two?

just wondering how you put so many miles on it in one month. you dont even know if you are going to sell the clutch or any engine related components yet. :shrug

Thats why the title says "Possibly". If I dont find another 1G to swap my motor in soon, it will be parted out.
