I know I shouldn't be posting in here but I need to get rid of the system so I can do some performance stuff. I have 2 10" Alpine Type R's in a Sealed Box. Powered by an Alpine MRD-M500 Mono Amp. The headunit is a Pioneer DEH-8500MP. This system hits hard and you can hear it clearly all the way to max volume with the stock speakers. I am selling the system for $1,000 Shipped. I spent all together about $1,500 on this setup. I have only had the system since March. Please put the word around. I can't afford to go much lower. But I can lower it a little bit if you can hook me up with a sufficient head unit that plays cds.

I would keep the headunit and try to sell it local. Your in high school, right? There has to be someone there that will buy it off you. I sold so much stuff when I was in HS. I would try that first, that way you don't need to ship somehting so heavy.

My friend is getting on my ass about selling my system. Telling me its stupid and that I should'nt give it up. I want the money from it tho so I can get my turbo while I have a good deal on it. I told him I'd probably do a system again over the winter and do something different because its fun to build new systems. I told him I would do Infinity Reference powered by their new Amps. Components and one 12" Sub. What do you guys think. Is it dumb that I'm selling my system, and would you stick with Alpine or do Infinity?

I personally would rather have Alpine over Infinity. I personally like to try new equipment that i havent heard b4.

Get 1 IDMax sub and a HiFonics Brutus to power it, you'll be set! I agree with the guy ^^^ I like going with brands that aren't real popular but high quality, you can usually get something better for the same price as say a RF, Alpine, or Infinity. Also check out Elemental Designs, they make some sick subs.

Sell what you have now and get something that you want. I think going with one sub is a good idea, you will lose some weight and you won't notice a huge difference from what you have now if you power the single sub correctly.

keep your eyes on the prize man. If you want the turbo don't take trades for more stereo stuff. have you been asking around your high school? Stupid kids will buy anything shitty for cheap, and anything good for too much.

I have tried around my school and no one knows shit.. they all think its better to get these 1500 watt amps on ebay that are in reality not 1500watts. plus the are all broke bitchs anyway.. they dont deserve this equipment then.
